Check if your i5 12400 can handle the RTX 4070 and if 1 TB storage fits your needs.
This setup is solid for the price, though the CPU and board could have been upgraded to higher-end options like the 12600K or a refreshed 13th gen Alder Lake with similar performance to the B660 Pro RS by Asrock or B660 Tomahawk by MSI. Downgrading the PSU to a 650W model of comparable quality would help, and using a basic single tower cooler would be more cost-effective. From there, it becomes a solid entry-level build for 1440p at 1440p resolution. I’d recommend at least 2TB of usable storage in 2023, as games are growing larger and redownloading becomes more expensive with limited internet data.
The CPU is the main concern. Using all storage on a single low-end SSD is not a good plan. Invest in a dedicated drive for the operating system. Affordable options like the 500gb Sabrent Rocket or 970 EVO Plus are excellent value.
