The LED connector on the motherboard for that fan controller is placed on the Aorus Ultra Z490 Rev 1 board. It’s not required, but you should confirm before installing. Thanks in advance if this seems obvious!

Check if the controller uses a 3-pin or 4-pin connector. Remember, the 3-pin ones are actually 4 pins wide, with just one middle pin left empty.

It's marked as C on the schematic for the case fan controller board. I think it uses four pins.

It seems to be a 4-pin connector, though verification with the actual connector is recommended. This matters because connecting a 3-pin device to a 4-pin header—often not feasible due to extra space in the connector—could damage the controller and possibly the LEDs. If it's truly a 4-pin (12V) connector, use LED_C1 on the lower left or LED_C2 on the upper right. Choose the position that makes running the cable easiest.
