This new thunderbolt 4 dock isn't functioning properly with the touchscreen display.
Just hooked up the new Thunderbolt 4 dock, and my eGPU functions properly. The touchscreen display only works when connected directly to the laptop. Got any suggestions?

Laptop setup: connected via Thunderbolt dock output using a 40gbps TB4 cable. Display and eGPU are linked to two of the three dock ports with matching 40gbps cables. Removing the eGPU still allows display functionality, but it fails when disconnected from the laptop. Restarting the dock restores display for about a second before it stops responding.
Check these two aspects concerning power. The Thunderbolt dock unit, despite having its own power supply module, cannot provide sufficient power to the monitor, preventing it from working properly.
Make sure you are using the power supply module that came with the monitor.
It's possible the monitor's battery is not fully charged; charge it before use by connecting its power unit and allowing several hours of charging.
