Many players dislike this title since it doesn't match the quality of the original Thief games. I haven't played them before, but is this one at least working and fun? Worth the $10? Steam deals are great!

The game is a mixed bag. On one hand, it offers some engaging mechanics and a decent storyline. On the other hand, the quality of execution is poor, with bugs and glitches that ruin the experience. It’s not great, but it’s not terrible either.

It simply works. No inquiries made. All elements are disappointing. It feels extremely dull and uninteresting.

I purchased the game for ten dollars and found the mechanics to be fairly solid. The exploration can feel a bit monotonous at times, but the overall experience is decent. It's enjoyable to attempt taking as much loot as possible without causing any damage. Doing that actually makes the game quite easy, even on the toughest difficulty level. The civilian AI seems a bit naive; I startled one player and he ran to the guard post, and I physically blocked him from climbing the stairs because at master difficulty you can eliminate non-combatants. Still, for the price I'm having a good time.
