I just completed my first custom liquid cooling setup. I hit a problem I’m almost certain is the cause. I took everything out and tried different RAM sticks and slots, but the PC won’t boot and it doesn’t give any beep codes. Now I think it’s likely my BIOS isn’t updated for the new CPU. Just trying to figure this out so I can fix it.

We would need to know the PC specs / motherboard - CPU to know if you need to update the BIOS or not.. Give us more information.

Remove the RAM entirely and attempt to boot. If there are no beeps or lights, the CPU or motherboard is likely the issue.

The CPU is a Gigabyte X570i with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D before the Ryzen 5 3600. The Gigabytes site mentions updating the BIOS before using the 5800X3D. Thanks everyone.
