Hey everyone, I just completed the build from the link you shared. I connected the CPU, RAM, fan, and GPU to the motherboard, and everything is linked to the PSU. When I power on the PSU, the motherboard lights come on, but the fans and GPU fans don’t activate. The desktop is hooked up to the GPU and keyboard to the motherboard, but when I connect the HDMI to the GPU, the desktop shows an error saying no signal is detected. I looked online and tried removing the GPU and using just one cable for the CPU power supply on the motherboard, but that didn’t help. I also added another cable with four connections to the ATX12V1 for the CPU power, but there are only four slots. I noticed occasionally, even when the PSU is off, a white flash appears from the middle of the motherboard. I’m confused about its source—maybe it’s from the RGB lights that turn on when I power up. Do I need a USB connection with BIOS or something? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Activate the properly linked power switch. It’s not just about launching the PSU unless you’ve already got it running and adjusted some BIOS settings.
Hi @Jahee2, @Cyberat yesterday I attempted that step after notifying it's a real action. However, on the motherboard I can't locate the pwrsw button in the bottom right corner. I only saw a label called pwr btn and tried connecting the case connector power switch to pwrbtn on the board, but it didn't work. I've also tried pressing that button with a flat and star-shaped tool, but no luck. Sharing photos of the board @CyberAtlas @Cyberat I haven't seen any GPU light and after watching that video I think it likely doesn't have one, unless the indicator is just behind the dashboard panel on the top right at 1:59.
Some pins are missing intentionally. The last two connectors have unclear labels. Without the manual, I assume SPK_PLED1 is Junction 1 and L6 is Junction 2. Junction 1: First two pins are power LED connectors beginning with "+", next two are HDD LED connectors starting with "+", the lower half serves internal speakers (uses two real pins). Junction 2: First two are power button connectors starting with "+", last two are reset button connectors starting with "+". I’ll try to match based on what I see. Just remember this is my best guess since I don’t have the schematic or manual. The MB has a cheap design—shorting can happen if you touch metal between the pins briefly.
The GPU light is located beside the GPU power plugin, and it becomes visible once activated.
