Hey everyone, just starting out here and feeling really confused. I built a PC for editing last year, everything worked perfectly until I tried to upgrade the motherboard to a Tomahawk B450 Max II. It all went smoothly until I pressed power and nothing happened. When I tried the reset BIOS button, the red light came on indicating power was present. I’ve unplugged and plugged everything back in several times, removed the hardware one by one without success, and even took out the CMOS battery for a minute before reinstalling. I also tried using the shorting pins, but nothing changed. Any advice would be super helpful!

It seems there might be some confusion. Could you clarify what you're referring to? If the motherboard isn't working, it could be due to several factors—hardware issues, software problems, or even environmental factors. Let me know how I can help!
