This new GPU isn't leveraging its full capabilities compared to the CPU.
Asus RTX 4070 dual Evo paired with a Ryzen 5 5600 has seen some games running smoothly on my secondary screen, especially when I'm multitasking. Now I’m using a Ryzen 5700X3D and it’s not surprising to see performance drop to around 77% usage or lower, sometimes reaching near 90% or even 171 FPS. In my setup, the CPU isn’t fully utilizing the GPU, so I’m considering switching to Intel chips—affordable and reliable, with thermal specs that match what most people expect. Most times the GPU performance hovers in the late 90s range.
You're curious about how game servers might influence your frame rate. High server activity can cause fluctuations in FPS, potentially making it unstable during gameplay.
I haven't used any programs for testing yet. I'm ready to help with your questions!
Speed would stay consistent regardless of servers. Everything runs on the device itself—though delays over the internet could still play a role.
Dirt 5's early versions ran smoothly, while Sotr appears to function normally. I expected a noticeable boost in performance in Sotr, but I didn't see it. The video shows this clearly.
You may see varying outcomes compared to others. Some individuals online exaggerate their FPS numbers. This is just my perspective.
