This new gaming computer is unable to start into BIOS.
I chose to assemble my initial gaming PC and believed everything was configured correctly. However, when attempting to power it on, it shut down before I could access BIOS. I suspect either a defective power supply or a faulty motherboard, but I’m unable to determine the exact issue.
Specs:
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-A gaming
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 58000x
- RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060
- Cooling: Corsair iCUE H100i Elite Capellix cooler
- Power supply: cx750f RGB
If anyone has any suggestions, I’ve tried booting with just one RAM stick, testing without the GPU, unplugging everything and reconnecting. Appreciate your assistance ahead of time!
Power down, unplug, open the case.
Refer to the relevant User Guides/Manuals (Motherboard, GPU, etc.) to confirm all connections and card placements are accurate.
Repeat the same process for connections, RAM, jumpers, and seatings—ensure everything is fully and securely positioned.
Avoid forcing any connection, particularly in a new build.
Be aware that certain motherboards specify that the first RAM module must go into a designated slot.
Take your time and inspect each part meticulously.
