Two things visible in the pictures: your power cord appears not fully connected. The pins you’re using don’t match the standard set for starting the motherboard—are you certain you’re on the correct type? What model is your motherboard? Edit: I gathered some details by rechecking your post. The YouTube tutorial doesn’t apply to me. Could the pins you’re shorting be the ones right next to the one you’re connecting?

I acknowledge your message, but it seems you're on the incorrect pin configuration. The correct location for JFP1 is at the bottom right of your motherboard. Please verify and try again. It looks like your board wasn't powered on, so no damage should have occurred—just ensure any components are properly connected if you're using a replacement.

It worked perfectly! Thanks a ton—I really appreciate it. I’m just a bit confused right now, but I think I should re-enter everything into my case. That’s fine; I earned it since I managed to mix up the pins.
