This new computer isn't turning on properly.
I just assembled my first PC and think I connected everything properly, but when powering it on, only a faint blue light appears on the motherboard. During the paper clip test, the AIO starts up, yet inserting the 24-pin cable into the MOBO causes just that blue light to flash without the AIO running or any RAM activation. The system doesn’t respond at all. Could you try a different approach before visiting a technician?
Verify all PSU connections are accurate and securely fastened, including the side of the cable connected to the PSU. Ensure your front IO is properly inserted or attempt to boot by connecting front panel pins on the motherboard using a screwdriver. Note that this board comes with a BIOS designed only for Ryzen 3000 series CPUs; confirm your model is current. If an update is required, locate the file and instructions at the provided link. For a 3000 series CPU, contact AMD support—they have experience helping users with similar issues.
