When you notice something, the lights indicating the CPU and DRAM are active. After a while, the CPU light switches off while the DRAM remains lit.
Follow the instructions in the manual: ensure light indicates DRAM isn't detected or in a fail state. Use one stick of RAM, try booting in socket 0 first, then 1, 2, and 3. If unsuccessful, switch to the other stick and continue.
Tested both sticks, nothing altered. Discovered the CPU light activates when sticks are at 0 or 2, but stays on. Changed to 1 or 3 and it disappears. Also noted previous GPU and CPU were on a different machine, and I don’t have OS on my SSD.
Checking each stick one by one suggests the RAM might be the issue. The next step could be reinserting the CPU. If connections aren't aligned properly in the socket, you might encounter faulty RAM channels. Also, the 5600 CL36 is generally poor performance—consider a better option if you decide to return it. Ryzen tends to prefer 6000 CL30-32 models.
