I did on the two I installed. I left the plastic on the one the third one I didn't install. I'm realizing that might have been a bad move now. Again, I disabled xmp and it seems fine now. Can I try removing the plastic from the third m.2 slot and reseating my ram?
The film will stay if the slot isn't filled. Removing the XMP setting caused a slowdown. Overheating is possible but not typical. If you heavily modified the characters, that could be more of an issue. Consider re-activating the XMP profile (without the side cover) to check the effect.
I am not tracking the ssd. I'm just starting out with building. What software should I choose?
I am downloading that chipset now.
I have a 500gb os ssd and a 2tb ssd for games. I placed the os ssd in the pdie5 lane and the game ssd m.2 nvme 2tb in the m2b_cpu slot pci express 4.0 bus lane.
Because you're employing WD devices, this should work:

I'll take a look. After reviewing my SSD and all other components, it seems the issue was related to the motherboard not supporting XMP settings. Everything is working fine and there are no alarms. Thanks for the assistance!
