Hello, my latest AMD build isn't turning on when I press the power button. The power supply works fine (I used it on another PC before), but shorting the power wire with a screwdriver didn’t help. The only signs of activity are the RGB backlight on the motherboard and the LCD on my H100i Elite, which shows a red warning triangle. My setup includes: Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming X670e-plus Wi-Fi CPU: Ryzen 7800X3D AIO: Corsair H100i Elite LCD XT PSU: Corsair H1000i GPU: Asus TUF Gaming 4080 OC Edition Case: Fractal North (BLK with tempered glass). Please find the attached image of what I see when the power switch is activated. Also, the radiator fan was removed so I could reach the AIO header on the motherboard. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Reorganized the setup, yet the problem remains unchanged. I still have a concern—could the motherboard be causing a short circuit somewhere? Also, do you have a spare part available in case something needs swapping out?

Maybe, though if that applies, it might already be too late. I’d attempt to run the PC separately from inside the case. Have you confirmed the standoffs were included with the case? They usually come pre-installed if not.

Standoffs were already set up for am4/am5, but testing the PC out of its case with a new PSU still shows the same issue. Should I expect the worst? Could my motherboard or CPU be damaged? Also, I’ve already tried removing the CMOS battery.

I often see the red warning indicator on the AIO LCD. Corsair suggests it could mean almost anything. What concerns me is that some PCs won’t start if they think the CPU cooler isn’t connected. Might the AIO be defective? I checked all three fan headers—CPU fan, AIO, and CPU option—but nothing changed.

It might not prevent the PC from starting. You could attempt to boot without a cooler, but be careful to power it down quickly since your CPU could overheat.
