This new 12900k graphics card isn't functioning properly.
Hello, I recently set up a new workstation with the following details: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3600 MHz Intel Core i9-12900K, EVGA SuperNOVA 550 MSI MAG B660M. No graphics card installed; I plan to use the integrated graphics only. When trying to boot, the screen doesn’t appear. I’ve used an HDMI and a direct DP connection to the motherboard without success. No error lights appear on the board. Plugging in a GPU works and allows me to install Windows. Steps I’ve tried: updated BIOS, ensured CSM isn’t enabled, set preferred graphics to iGPU in BIOS, verified integrated graphics is active. Removed the cooler and double-checked the model—confirmed it’s a dedicated GPU, not an iGPU. Windows 10 sysinfo showed the correct specs. Seems the GPU is required for display. I’m unsure what else to try; perhaps the motherboard is faulty. Please let me know if there’s anything missing. Thanks.
No, not directly. The iGPU is designed for use with a single display.
