Is this issue specific to the MX250 or a common problem?
Yes, I’m trying to confirm if this happens with other models.
The laptop runs an ASUS Vivobook 14 X412FL with an i7-8565U and 20GB RAM.
During gaming, it locks at 133 or 266 MHz clock speeds (MSI Afterburner data) and doesn’t increase after about three minutes, even though it’s not overheating.
After that, performance drops to 18–29 FPS.
Anyone have advice?

Below the point of thermal throttling
Reaches up to 75°C during full use. Typically, it stabilizes around 69 to 73°C over time

It operates effectively when using benchmarking tools such as Superposition. This behavior occurs across various games and under sustained heavy loads. Your fans do not exceed limits during GPU usage.

I've got the problem somewhat clarified.
The MX250 was experiencing thermal throttling, delivering about 0.95 V at the base clock speed, but due to heat it drops to 0.775 V, causing the low clock speed.
I think a cooling pad would help. Thanks for the advice!
