Hello everyone, my experience with building has been quite challenging. I just purchased my second PC recently. The setup includes: Ryzen 5 1600AF, Asrock B450 Gaming-itx/AC, Corsair Vengeance DDR4, Corsair SF450 PSU, GTX 1660 Super, and CM ML120 Lite. The issue is that the system enters a boot loop. Fans and lights activate, but after about 15 seconds everything shuts off again. Once it restarts, it keeps doing so repeatedly without any sounds, lights, or video output. I've tried several fixes—changing RAM orientation, using a different PSU, reapplying the cooler, booting with just CPU and cooler, and clearing CMOS—but nothing seems to resolve the problem. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm really confused right now.
The issue probably stems from the motherboard lacking the necessary BIOS upgrade to work with the AMD CPU. The 1600AF is newer than the B450. Options:
- Request a temporary CPU from AMD RMA (link provided)
- Borrow a first-gen Ryzen CPU from another person
- Visit a local shop that may update the BIOS for free or at a modest cost if compatible models are available

Be aware of these cautions, particularly regarding the fourth warning—verify your current BIOS settings after installing the 1600 non-AF chip.
