Hello! I'm just getting started with my first rig and recently purchased the 5600X. I have some questions about its performance for tasks beyond gaming, especially moderate productivity work like simulation and Adobe editing. Can anyone help clarify if it's suitable for those uses? It's really not a big deal since it's close to the previous 3700x in some programs thanks to its clear IPC boost. Applications like Adobe that need fast processing are also using high-performance cores, making the 5600x a solid option. Back then I ran a 4C/8T CPU for CAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Premiere Pro, and basic rendering tasks—no complaints at the time. How much progress has happened?
