Let me start by saying, this is my last resort action for my Motherboard. I have been through Asus NA and Asus DE tech support channels to see if they can help me resolve my issues with my motherboard, but it appears that there is not way of getting it fixed unless I send it in for repair - out of warranty ofc - with the uncertainty if they can even fix the issue. Additionally I have gone through every step I know of (I am an IT since 15-ish years) without the slightest glimpse of success... What a nice preamble. Now to the issue I have with my board. I am unable to update the BIOS via any of the possible means provided by Asus. Meaning: EZ Flash through Windows EZ Flash through BIOS via internet EZ Flash through BIOS via USB Drive Flashback button function via USB None of the above was working, well almost... So what I did is the following. I started on a Sunday morning to download the latest BIOS for my board: 4901 I got the error that Image doesn't match the BIOS, no problem, I thought maybe this is too much of a jump since I had 1002 version installed. So I did start at the very beginning of the BIOS versions with 1103, through windows, BIOS via internet and BIOS via USB. This was not working either all the way up to 2203, which suddenly was working, full of joy I attempted 4901 again, without success. I then attempted all of the remaining version from 2203 up to 4703 without success, always throwing the same error that the image doesn't fit the BIOS. I did also try to remove battery clear BIOS but without success. I am at wits end with this. But I cannot simply throw this board away as you can imagine, and my plan is to upgrade to the 5000 series for which i will need a minimum BIOS version of 4703. I would've hoped they would check what made 2203 so special, dissect it see what is difference at its core compared to 4703 or 4901 and then provide me with a custom version to fit my problem, but it appears that they're not moving so much if it is an older board.. If anyone has an idea or can do the BIOS dissection, i'd be more than happy!! Thanks to y'all in advance.

It's surprising how frequently individuals misidentify boards, often due to variations like Wi-Fi presence or differing revision versions.
I'm checking the processor details. Have you experimented with downloading the BIOS on another device, inserting it onto a reliable USB drive, and attempting to flash it from within the BIOS? Also, since you don't need to rename files if you're not using BIOS flashback (which requires a CPU), that should work fine.
