Hi there, I'm facing an issue with my motherboard. While updating the BIOS via Gigabyte's appcenter, the PC stopped working after rebooting. I've followed the instructions in the manual for nearly six years, cleared the CMOS by removing the battery (no changes detected), reset the CMOS jumper using a screwdriver (still no improvement), and even tried flashing an older BIOS version onto a USB drive. After restarting, nothing changed. What else can I do?
EDIT: Last night I noticed the VGA LED is on.

Which processor are you running? Many CPUs were taken out of support in later BIOS updates, meaning your system might be using an unsupported version.
Main bios pins 1 and 6 highlighted. Pin 1 has a dot on the chip—wait for it to power up. If not, randomly connect shorts until it boots. One of my X58A UD3s with a faulty MOSI needs this to boot, and I’ve discovered another pin can work instead of just 1 and 6.
The system seems to be refusing to post. You haven't mentioned any power cycling, just a brief pause. All fans and components appear to be operational. If BIOS tweaks aren't helping, follow the usual 'no post' steps—remove RAM modules, detach the GPU, disconnect storage drives, etc. There might be an issue with the update affecting your setup, so checking your BIOS version and comparing it to the one you installed could help. Also, please share your motherboard model, CPU type, RAM setup, and the BIOS version you're currently using before upgrading.
Fans are spinning, LEDs illuminate, and all peripherals display light. I attempted to clear every RAM stick, swapped my GPU from a PCIe slot to another (the VGA light remains active). I own a Gigabyte B350-gaming 3, a Ryzen 5 2600 that isn’t overclocked, with 32GB of 3200MHz RAM (it only reaches 2933MHz). I was using F51b and updated to F54D (the newest version). Noticing the VGA light stays on last night suggests it’s worth mentioning that my GPU is an MSI Armour RX 580 8GB.
Yes, you should leave the device plugged in while shorting the Main BIOS.
Boot sequence initiated. Short content will pause until ready.
