my newphew bought his first computer using his own funds. it came with a prebuilt Dell 5675 system featuring an AMD A10-9700 processor. i assisted him in installing an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (first generation). now the machine powers on, but the CPU fan is connected and spinning without any display. i didn’t touch the power cable, and everything functioned before. after shutting it down and unplugging the CMOS battery, it restarted successfully.

It's possible, though I'm not sure if the BIOS supports it. I recommend reaching out to DELL directly for precise information. They maintain a detailed database for each device and can advise on all feasible upgrades.
