I received a Dell Poweredge R410 from public surplus at a very low cost. It powers on correctly but shows an orange blinking light with no video output. The manual warns of a server error and suggests a BIOS restart, though instructions are unclear. I’m unsure how to perform the restart from Dell support resources.

That thing runs much slower than my phone. Check it out—maybe someone messed with the RAM.

I purchased it at a government auction. It contains six sticks, each holding two gigabytes of RAM.

You can install the firmware using a USB drive or a bootable media, then connect it to your device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Use the provided link to burn the file and then connect the stick. This method has been verified by someone with more experience than you.

Sure, I'll give it a shot. It seems like it won't receive an IP address when connected to the router.

You waited for a short time as the servers started up. The connection port you used matters, and some systems only provide a built-in VGA output—use the rear one if available. Adding a GPU to the PCIe slot won’t resolve the issue.
