Hey, just finished setting up my PC. It’s been a lot of questions but I’m still troubleshooting. Lights come on when I power on the PSU but nothing spins despite fans running. No case yet, so am I supposed to install one? It won’t be for long. Specs: B450M steel, 2070, Ryzen 5500, 8GB RAM, DDR4, 650W PSU, MSI Mag and Wraith cooler. Need help figuring this out.

Are you certain you're hitting the right spot? The third and fourth pins from the top left on the front header. Could be a bios update, but the fans would definitely react.

Disconnect all other parts except the CPU, cooler and fan, and power supply. Attempt to boot again—it should trigger a RAM error. If that persists, suspect a faulty motherboard; otherwise, the CPU may be the problem. If it powers on, test components sequentially: RAM first, GPU next, then storage drives, and finally any remaining parts. When it fails to boot, identify the exact fault.
