I've just assembled a new system using a refurbished 6800xt reference model. The software keeps failing, showing a black screen after the motherboard logo and then my monitor shutting down due to no signal. It functioned properly for a day before the drivers stopped working. This issue has repeated several times, even after reinstalling Windows three times. I can enter safe mode to remove and reinstall drivers, which temporarily resolves the problem. I'm concerned about how often this happens, especially since I'm using the newest AMD drivers. Could this be related to the GPU or just the driver version?

Ensure your system is up to date with all Windows patches prior to launching AMD applications.

I’ll attempt this now, since the drivers seem to be functioning properly. I’m pretty sure I installed all the updates before downloading the amd drivers. The drivers are now working after three reinstalls. I hope this continues.
