Hello everyone. I'm dealing with a rather bothersome issue. My PC has been inactive for at least a month after assembly. It won't boot at all. The situation began a few days ago when a friend tried a hard drive that caused problems. I decided to test it. When I connected the drive, the PC functioned normally but ran slower. After realizing I couldn't use it, I powered it off and unplugged it. Since then, the PC has never worked again. I cleaned the CMOS, reconnected everything, but nothing changed. Now the keyboard still works, allowing me to restart, yet the system remains unresponsive. The board shows a green light suggesting a boot issue. What should I do to fix this?
In my situation the system couldn't locate the operating system and wouldn't start. I also experienced a comparable problem. I used a Windows installation USB and began the computer, which successfully launched the Windows setup.

Up to now I’ve tried everything and nothing resolved the issue. The manual indicates there’s no USB port for this feature. I know it can boot USB memory automatically if a BIOS update is present, but that hasn’t helped either. Yes, I’d already checked that part of the Asus support guide.
I used that function but nothing occurred. I had to connect the USB drive first before powering on the computer. I’ll check again later. Thank you. : D
I managed to fix the issue. It seems I relied on a friend's GPU to test, but the computer was functioning properly afterward. At first, I felt nervous because no image appeared on the screen, only to discover that my HDMI VGA adapter had problems. Everything is now resolved. Thank you all for your assistance.
