it's unclear what happened, but the RCM cables are functioning properly. When you touch the cable and press the left speaker, it produces a sound. Playing music only through the right speaker works. I've tried unplugging devices, checking drivers, and verifying sound settings, but the issue remains: the left speaker isn't producing sound.

Yes, the left speaker produces sound upon contact with the wire.
