This memory should function with AMD Expo.
It should function on AMD systems, though I doubt XMP is automatically activated. In theory, AMD boards should recognize and apply XMP settings, but in reality most fail and become unstable when XMP is enabled. The best approach is to manually set the parameters—frequency, voltage, and timing values—and input them directly into the memory section. This usually resolves issues. G.Skill doesn’t typically offer kits with both XMP and EXPO profiles on the same unit; they’re usually sold separately. Unlike some brands such as Kingston, which may include both in one DIMM, this particular model only has XMP support. Personally, I’d prefer a kit labeled for EXPO if it’s priced similarly.
Thanks in advance! I wouldn’t feel at ease adjusting those settings myself. A kit with EXPO profiles would be ideal. Are there any alternatives within a 300 euro budget that could work for me? Shipping to Ireland makes some platforms less useful, so I’m looking for options that fit that constraint.
In a short time browsing that page, the kit appeared and will now have EXPO listings here https://www.memoryc.ie/41783-32gb-g-skil...black.html. If you prefer RGB, you’ll likely need to check another site, as they don’t offer a 6000 CL30 model with RGB. A 6000 CL36 is available there, matching performance, though you may need to explore other sites for better options.
