Yesterday assembled a PC with the following specs: 4670k processor, R9 380 graphics, Gigabyte GX97 X-Gaming 5, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB hard drive, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler, Ante 550W 80+ bronze power supply, and Corsair Spec-03 red. I ordered Windows 10 and expect it tomorrow. I started the system in anticipation of accessing the BIOS but received a message asking how to bypass it. Thanks ahead, Bob.

Indicates the system can't locate a bootable installation. This occurs when you're assembling a PC without an operating system yet. You likely have Windows installed on your hard drive, so press delete as the boot menu appears and confirm the HDD is selected as the startup device.

certain displays take a bit of time to reach their signal, including mine. occasionally the boot menu from BIOS doesn't appear at all—especially during the one-second boot phase. pressing F2/Del or entering the BIOS key as per the manual can help trigger it.

It will always try to boot automatically, since no valid boot media was provided. To access the BIOS, press the key designated for entering BIOS during startup (typically F2, F10, or Delete).

Make sure an operating system is set up. If not, install one. Adjust boot priority if your OS is available.

You're expecting this outcome, and it's exactly what you anticipated. It indicates your PC is assembled, functioning properly, and prepared for an OS installation. To access UEFI, simply press the delete key after pressing the power button. If this doesn't work, it's likely Ultra Fast Boot is active, so wait until your operating system is installed before trying. Unless you have another machine, visit Microsoft's Win 10 download page, download the ISO, copy it to a USB drive, and install it now without a key. Just upload it tomorrow when it arrives.

You didn’t reach the BIOS section. Restart and press DEL or F2 when the screen displays the logo.
