they claimed the harm comes from me and stated it's the fault of the board, saying it's not my responsibility

You can disable them easily. It’s tough to tell what the board is without seeing it, but it seems a single capacitor was damaged—its surface mount pads are torn off. Fixing it correctly is challenging.

It's located at the back of the board, and I don't touch it. They probably did this to avoid returning it.

But you mount the board from the back into the case. That SMD component is right next to a standoff. It’s simple to tap it during descent. Remove your tinfoil hat—MSI isn’t trying to mess with you.

It should take about three minutes for someone familiar with the process. The company likely expects a high price for this service.

entire region appears flawed or damaged, unclear whether it resulted from modifications, MSI troubleshooting, or intentional sabotage.

Capture numerous photos before sharing them in future matters regarding an RMA. This serves as verification. If not, no one can confirm it was you, MSI, or the carrier that handled it. I’m unclear on what you need us to state. My apologies for your unpleasant experience.

usually people attempt to repair the board themselves and use the $20 USD I spent on shipping as a tech support fee. If I can probably fix that section, I might just bridge it or check if it works. Alternatively, removing a resistor from a damaged board could save me that money, especially if I knew the damage in advance.

This board was purchased from eBay, yet the case I used had an older machine-style enclosure featuring raised metal supports. The board only works well during light gaming tasks and often restarts unexpectedly.

The MSI issue is unclear. Request a refund from the seller or eBay. It seems someone altered the board, and MSI shouldn't be held accountable for that (they won't).
