Hi, I just completed assembling my first PC. The power button isn't functioning. I was able to boot it up using BIOS flashback, though I don't know why that method works. I installed Windows and all the necessary drivers. However, I can't restart the PC after turning it off because the power button isn't responding. There are no fans running, including the PSU fan, and the EZ debug lights are off. Below are my system specifications: Case: Deepcool cg560 CPU, Processor: Ryzen 5600 Mobo, RAM: ADATA XPG GAMMIX D10 (16GB, 3200MHz), GPU: MSI RTX 2060, 6GB PSU (Corsair CXF 650W), SSD: WD Blue 3D NAND 1TB.

It seems your power switch isn't connected properly. If the BIOS recovery light came on, try connecting a screwdriver to the power headers on the motherboard corners to test if the PC powers on.

It doesn't start up properly now, yet it functioned fine before I powered it off, suggesting the motherboard might not be the issue.

When the PC is powered on, switching windows to sleep and then pressing the power button will bring it back to an active state.

It's resolved now. I mistakenly connected the power button to the incorrect location. Appreciate the assistance!
