Hey there, I've been dealing with the same issue with my R5 3600. It's been tough keeping the temps stable lately. Back when I first got it, I was getting around 200°F, which isn't ideal. Now that I've reduced the clock speeds a bit to 2700, things seem better—my case still has decent airflow with two fans and my RTX 2070 runs at about 155°F under the same settings. According to Ryzen Master, the CPU is drawing 88W, which matches the default setting, not the boosted overdrive mode. I thought it should be lower since the 3600 has a TDP of 65W. Anyone know what's happening?

The current heat level is harmful to the component. What cooling method do you suggest?

Maximum power usage comes from the number of sockets. The TDP label shows the processor's power draw during peak operation at its base clock speed. It's worth noting that the makers often run these chips at higher speeds by default, balancing performance with energy efficiency.

He also referred to throttling. I believe you're correct; it's important to assess the cooling situation.

Is that the conclusion you expected? I’m just relying on the stock cooler. I thought about getting something better later, but wanted to confirm this point first.

Also, I understand. I don’t let it stay at that temperature. It stays around 170°F or 75°C, which is a lower setting.

Check if the cooler is positioned properly. Confirm whether the recommended thermal paste was applied beforehand. Note the current room temperature.

Open F@H, click the icon once more... pause the CPU worker. Its readings don’t add up. It’s just a nice-looking pointer.
