Could have simply swapped the fan on that Tx3; it would have been better. 8370 is too much for that MB, but 8320e seems more suitable.

I'm not sure about Zen either—it's still a long way before good versions arrive. I won't commit until the end of next year. It might end up like those Bulldozer FX x1xx, only after Vishera x3xx they were fixed but then it was almost too late. I never go for version 1.0 of anything.

CountMike could have simply switched the fan on that Tx3; it would be better than the new one. 8370 would be too much for that MB, but 8320e would be a better choice. I’m not sure about Zen either—it’s still some time before good MBs arrive. I won’t wait until the end of next year. I fear it will be similar to those Bulldozer FX x1xx, only after Vishera x3xx they were fixed but by then it was almost too late. I never buy version 1.0 of anything.

Yes, I understand that, which means my remark about them is correct.

CountMike shared his experience. He installed the CPU Heatsink fan and noticed it cools the system 20-25 degrees lower than the original fan. He provided some screenshots for reference.

Won't cost nothing to try.

The cost of trying it won't be anything. Do you think you can push it with these temperatures?

You still have a few more 5-10c left before it begins throttling, and I doubt you'll reach 4GHz.

You have a few more 5-10c before throttling begins, and reaching 4GHz might not significantly improve the speed.
