The main focus is on gaming. Funds have already been used. Everything is under 15 days and can be returned or replaced if needed. How would you have acted differently to save $1000?

PCIe Gen.4 in raid0 doesn't boost speed, though it's implemented for other factors (video below). With two 500GB Gen4 units you're likely spending about $50 more than a single 1TB drive. For gaming, the performance gap between Gen3 and Gen4 is minimal right now. 2) Windows 11 appears to utilize Intel 12th Gen chips more efficiently overall, offering slight gains in many scenarios but not a big difference for games.
