I'm experiencing the same pixelation issue on Chrome, it's quite strange. I'm just beginning to use IE for YouTube and everything else.

Chrome faces issues with YouTube compared to other browsers, except possibly Internet Explorer. Interestingly, Chrome was developed by Google, the company that also owns YouTube.

They must verify compatibility with HTML 5, or vice versa, and then check. I have no issues using Chrome.

I rely on "improvedTube" (auto 1080p, full screen, annotations off) but I removed it before testing. That’s wrong. This is my first experience with this problem. Also, I usually watch in 1080p or 4K when it’s available. Is there a way to enable or disable HTML5 in YouTube? It seems native support is already there. Plus, this is my first time noticing this behavior.
