Hello everyone so I have a Alienware 17 R4 (2017) laptop and the fps is extremely low for components which are in it. GTX 1080, I7-7820HK, 32 GB RAM, and 2 samsung ssds. The problem occurs in every game... CSGO I get 200 fps when people get 500 with pretty much the same hardware. Arma 3 unstable 50 fps, if flying on a jet or heli its 20. Rust any setting starting from super potato to fantastic fps doesnt change and stays around 40 with 90 max. I've saw a guy playing rust with gtx 1070 and getting stable 120 fps and i really dont know whats the problem. No overclocking or throttling. Cpu runs at 100% boost. Those are my benchmarks

How is the performance on your GPU? Could the drivers be faulty? Have you tried booting in safe mode and reinstalling them? Are there any thermal or power restrictions?

perhaps something with power plans.
Are you gaming with the laptop plugged in to the wall?

When you're unsure about DDU, it means you lack the latest drivers.

I install drivers via GeForce Experience and I'm not very familiar with them.

Simply connecting the device isn't sufficient. Click on the battery icon in the taskbar, then go to power options, and check the power plan you're using. You need a high-performance plan. This happened to me, which made me realize it was important.
