In short, your GPU fans operate normally when you power on, but they stop at the login screen. They don’t activate under load or when the GPU is active. I’ve checked the GPU drivers and noticed fans work in safe mode, BIOS, or any other setting where the GPU isn’t the display. I’ve tried updating drivers via MSI Afterburner, resetting the PC with a Windows reinstall, and even re-flashing the GPU BIOS, but the issue persists. Please let me know if you need further guidance.

Typically, GPUs include a cooling mechanism that shuts down the fans when idle. Under load conditions, temperatures usually rise but rarely exceed 90 degrees unless there’s an issue.

I resolved the problem. Switching the fan inputs on the GPU seemed to work for some unexpected reason. I don’t have details on how it happened.

How warm has the card gotten? Did you purchase it brand new? Halt any auto-installation from windows, stop right away—it could ruin your entire system. Install the driver you need or use this link: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/tec...leanstall/. Mark the Physx and display drivers, and it will handle the rest. Save the file to your PC and you’ll be good to go. Disable auto-updates or pause them, and disconnect from the internet briefly to ensure everything works properly; otherwise Windows will keep interfering.
