I didn't encounter any crashes, but I noticed a few visual issues. The frame rate dropped significantly during certain gameplay moments, especially in one of the King of Beggars missions where it was very low. Even at maximum settings, the graphics appeared poor.
AC5 is awesome (ace combat 5 is great). It’s normal to feel that way. Unity isn’t great, though—I really dislike it. You probably spent your money wrong.
You’ve likely encountered similar suggestions before. Have you tried using the app without an internet connection? Or looked at your files to spot any damage? It helped when I was stuck on a loading screen. My main problems with AC:U were launching it and starting after downloading—it wouldn’t even begin. The combo error 0xc00007b followed, and the app stopped working, which really frustrated me.
Because you've already purchased the game, according to Ubisoft, Patch 4 will come out for PC soon. It should address many issues and boost performance. I recommend holding off until then to check if it meets your needs better.
You should have checked the forum before buying. I hope you didn’t pay the full price, but at least found a half price on G2A or elsewhere. Didn’t realize ACU is the least optimized for PC among the three Ubishit games released last month? EDIT: After reading the subforum, there’s a 6GB patch coming soon that should resolve some issues—wait for that. Until then, try AA (some posts say it helps)
