They've chosen the 970 as the intended GPU for 1080p 60fps, but it seems to struggle at that resolution on a 980. That's misleading marketing. Many solid games were available when they launched or improved their optimization. The performance is poor and causes noticeable stuttering, similar to Arkham Knight.
I know Mad Max is showing a desert, but it still runs really smoothly.
