I checked the installed programs and noticed "Intel® Management Engine Components" is present. It appears to be set up in a way that prevents uninstallation, even after restarting the PC. This behavior is typical for Windows 10 installations on Intel platforms, especially when drivers are included. It should work fine as long as you're using the correct version.

That’s a concern. It doesn’t work on my system, and I’m using an i3 8100.

It looks like you're comparing a 9700K to something else, but it seems like you might be questioning whether that's a reduction in quality or capability. Let me know what you'd like to explore further!

It doesn’t seem to be working as expected. You can remove it if needed. The source of the issue isn’t clear. I see you have a program icon and its version.

It's included in the chipset drivers. Don't be concerned, everything is okay. Removing the IME isn't possible no matter what operating system you use.

I'm not a big fan of IME, yet I avoid exaggerating its impact on CPU performance. It's similar to AMD's Trust Zone—it exists but isn't widely discussed. I've heard IME can be targeted by attacks, but it doesn't cause extreme slowdowns. When older firmware or drivers have problems, updates can still be applied through the driver, just like with other chipset parts.

Je me souviens bien, j'avais un autre programme dans la même liste, identique en nom ("Intel® ..."), mais avec une icône différente. J'ai pu le désinstaller.
