Hello
I'm trying to overclock my (rather old) I5-750 using an Asus P7P55D-LE motherboard. For some reason, I can't turn off the Turbo boost option. I set Turbo boost to disabled in the BIOS. I adjusted BLCK to 170 and the CPU multiplier to 21 (the maximum allowed) while raising the relevant voltages. With such high multipliers as 21, the Turbo boost menu disappears, likely because of the high setting.

During tests with four cores, the CPU frequency remains steady around 3570 MHz – which is normal. When idle, it drops to about 1500 MHz – also expected. But when only one core is under heavy load, the Turbo boost activates for a moment, raising the multiplier to 24 and pushing the frequency above 4000 MHz (which isn't stable).

If the CPU multiplier stays at 20 or lower, the effect doesn’t occur, and the maximum speed remains at 3400 MHz regardless of core count under load.

Do you know how to completely disable Turbo boost without stopping the CPU from underclocking when idle?
Thanks in advance
