Solution identified—AsusCertService Error 5 is linked to a disabled service. This feature is typically active by default, but certain repair tools may turn it off via their optimization settings. To resolve the issue, enable AsusCertService in the optimization panel of your scan/repair application. If you don’t have a repair tool, follow these steps: search for services in the taskbar, select them, right-click and choose properties, set Startup type to Automatic, then start and confirm. Whether a restart is required depends on your setup.
