I encountered some issues this morning and looked into Armory Crate Update Center, which showed many RGB updates. I’m puzzled about why they started up ahead of time but hope the fixes work. I opened Razer Synapse, turned off Chroma Connect, which disabled my Chroma Control and Cool Master. I updated all drivers and programs in the Armory Crate notification center, covering numerous RGB devices. After restarting once for the update, it worked again after a second restart when everything was done. I reopened Razer, enabled Chroma Connect, and activated the apps that sync my RGB. All errors are gone and RGB is functioning normally as before.
Same issue appears during startup for 2 to 3 days. No action taken to cause it. Attempted to refresh the Asus suite but failed. Repair for Armoury Crate indicates a missing Windows installer. Clearing all third-party SDKs (like Patriot) didn't resolve the problem. Anyone know a fix?
The issue appears resolved since the message halted after multiple OK presses. I also contacted ASUS support, who confirmed it's not a motherboard problem and suggested checking for OS, memory, or hard disk errors. I recommend reinstalling the OS first; if that fails, inspect the hardware—consider having RAM and the hard drive serviced by a specialist. The error code is 433.
Hey there! I saw the same issue with the Armoury Crate. I reinstalled the older standalone version of Aura Sync, probably version 1.07.84. After setting it to static mode with a white color, only the RAM is syncing properly, while the Prism cooler and RGB fans aren't working. Have you seen this problem before? Any tips would be appreciated!
The problem seemed to resolve on its own. I dislike those quiet, unexpected changes.
I received identical messages on the same day this subject was introduced. At first, I didn’t give it much thought since it didn’t impact my PC’s performance beyond being bothersome. I simply visited Armory Crate, looked for updates, and applied them all. When prompted, I restarted once and again for extra assurance. Since then, no errors have appeared despite the updates. I’ll keep you updated if anything changes. I’m unsure if this matters, but here’s what I’m using: RGB lighting with most of my proprietary RGB software ready to run.
I started having these issues with the Lian Li software then now with iCue. Especially when trying to address lighting available to both managers. To break the restart loop I admin deleted the uninstaller tool then restarted. There will also be a startup item that needs to be disabled. Once you get the system back up, I reinstalled Armoury Crate - rebooted, then ran the uninstaller again as Admin. I'm likely going to rebuild the OS etc for a clean start again, but was able to break the loop.
I encountered an issue earlier today. Removing Armoury Crate using the official cleanup tool was simple, but taking AI Suite 3 off proved challenging. It spread across the filesystem and registry—completely disorganized. You had to stop various processes to delete the software, but they would restart again. Eventually, I managed to uninstall AI Suite by starting in Safe Mode and using Revo Uninstaller. This usually means resorting to it since altering the registry can be risky unless you're experienced. Note that booting into regular Safe Mode without networking caused problems; my first try failed because the software kept downloading and reinstalling despite shutdown attempts. After a few reboots and using CCleaner to clean the registry, all traces of Armoury Crate and AI Suite 3 disappeared, and the warning popup ceased. I also adjusted the BIOS settings, switching fan speeds from manual (set by AI Suite) back to auto, and turned DOCP on while keeping its default options. The system now runs smoothly—boots up faster, RGB stays unchanged, and it operates quietly again. I originally intended this cleanup to prepare for reinstalling AC and AIS, but the PC is functioning perfectly without it. I’ll never use that unnecessary bloatware again.
