I've attempted to enable the XMP profile but it didn't function properly. I wanted to see if others had encountered this issue with the same board. My Asrock B760M PG Lightning WiFi was paired with Corsair Vengeance 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5/CL40/64GB/5600MHz SDRAM, model CMK64GX5M2B5600C40. I confirmed the memory appears in the list and updated the BIOS to version 8.01. The system runs perfectly without XMP; activating it causes the computer to freeze and trigger a "dram" LED status check. I left it running for about 20 minutes without any changes, so I had to restart several times until it started posting again. To resolve this, I disabled XMP. The website mentions "Memory QVL (Raptor Lake/Raptor Lake-R)", but my CPU is listed as Socket 1700 Alder Lake with an Intel Core i5-12400, which is compatible with the board. Could this be the cause?
On A2 and B2 per the board and manual guidelines, but it seems my CPU might be reaching its limit. I don’t have any confirmation about that yet.
The 12400 appears to support XMP, though 5600 might be challenging. You can turn on XMP and then adjust the MHz to fx 5200 to see if it works. Additionally, if you have any recent BIOS updates, it’s worth installing them—they could enhance RAM compatibility with your motherboard.
