I just completed my initial setup and realized I must turn on XMP. However, the two profiles provided aren't loading. BIOS is already up to date. Your components: CPU i5-12600k, GPU GYGABYTE z690, RAM Kingston Fury DDR4-4800 (2x8GB).

Did you review the Memory Support List prior to purchasing? It’s always better to verify thoroughly rather than just focusing on DDR4/5 or maximum clock speeds. Always confirm with the specific vendor. I’ll send you a link for the motherboard you mentioned, double-checking that I captured it correctly. Then examine the packaging details and the Module/PN number code you received—see if they match the list. But if you can’t locate them there, it’s possible they might still function, depending on whether the manufacturer offers alternative RAM models for that board. To be honest, I’ve built around 2-4 PC configurations before encountering this, usually starting with a basic RAM check and proceeding to purchase. Things have evolved over time, especially with PCs and their components. Cheers!

You should be able to adjust the frequency directly. In your UEFI/BIOS there is an option to turn off XMP, and then you can change the clock speed yourself.
