The machine is not receiving power and shows no signs of functioning. I attempted to start it using a screwdriver and power switch. The GPU reported zero life. The seller at the time of purchase claimed a recent update, but that seems questionable. For further details, you can visit the provided link https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gVfjsL

Is it completely dead ? Is the PSU a known working one ? Not much can be done if you just bought it. Just box it up and take it back, no point in fiddling with it under warranty.

I installed the paperclip on the PSU and it stayed in place.

Disconnect all power cables from the PSU to the motherboard and peripherals, shut off the switch on the PSU, use a paper clip and jump pins 16 and 17 on the 24-pin connector. Follow the Corsair guide; https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articl...upply-unit

I was exhausted and it felt like it was happening all at once.

It looks like we both responded at the same time, and your message appeared when I shared it. If the PSU is working properly, the problem likely lies with the motherboard, and I’d bring it back.

From the image, it appears you haven’t connected the correct pins for power. Are those the only connections you made? The others pointed out that your power supply might not be the issue.

Could have misread the image but I've attempted this multiple times and succeeded with other setups before.

According to the Mobo manual, the top two pins are the power button connections, which should work fine.
