Hey everyone, a few weeks back I realized my router's wireless coverage has dropped significantly. Earlier, in my bedroom I could consistently achieve 60 Mbit speeds (fiber connection was perfect). Now it’s only 1.5 to 4 Mbit down and sometimes as low as 0.17 Mbit up? I’ve reset the network multiple times but nothing changed. When I’m near the router in the office with my phone on, it drops to about 1x Mbit both ways. In the living room next to my office, it still works well at around 70 Mbit, though it’s still below the previous strong signal. Something seems off. At first I thought it was my phone or iPad, but it’s definitely the router issue. I also tried updating the firmware and downgrading, but those didn’t help. There’s a forum mention about a chip failure in this model—do you know if that’s widespread? Also, I followed the reset steps, but nothing worked. The item RC68U isn't available. It seems you might be referring to RT-AC68U. Are you connecting it to the 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequency?
