When the TV is turned on, our mobile internet speeds drop significantly, almost stopping completely. I don’t know what to do about it.

Verify if there are updates needed and encountered an issue. Refresh the TV with the newest firmware. Inspect your router for unusual activity after connecting the TV. If the problem remains, revert to factory settings and confirm whether the issue continues.

Your television is linked via a cable or operates without one?

It’s linked via a cable to an Eero device on the mesh network. I noticed a mention about LG TVs being problematic in similar situations, though there’s no specific solution provided.

I’d use a streaming device such as a Chromecast or Apple TV. That’s the solution forever. My previous encounter with Samsung “smart” TVs was awful—I’ll never use TV apps again.

It’s best not to connect a TV to Ethernet directly—only the C3 and other devices support 100Mbps. Remove the device and check if the problem resolves.

All the more reason to buy a set top box. I would avoid Amazon's offerings entirely though.
