I recently chose to enhance my home server/encoding PC with a Ryzen R7 1700. I connected it to a MSI Bazooka V2 B450 because I needed a Micro-ATX motherboard that fits into a Fractual Design Node 804. Today I received the board and haven’t heard back from it. I’ve observed that the EZ Debug LEDs remain off, is this typical? Do you know if this board shows any power signals? I’m sure on my ASUS ROG Strix B350 there are indicators for power status. Did I get a faulty unit? I’ve tried these steps: the CPU runs fine on my ASUS ROG Strix B350, the PSU powers both my gaming PC and my current server (an older i5 2500), I have the MSI board outside the case with just the CPU, RAM, and PSU connected. Turning the Power switch doesn’t get me started. There’s no sign of activity at all. I was wondering if someone could help me spot something obvious before I order a replacement from Amazon.
I installed two case fans—one for the CPU and another for the GPU—along with a CPU fan, a single RAM stick, and the power supply. I should mention that I’m now using the original server setup again, matching the same GPU, fans, and PSU, and everything is working fine so far.
