Yeah, sorry to say you were probably scammed. If you're lucky, it's probably a RX470 or a RX570. The card has only a 6 pin pci-e connector, which means it's only allowed to draw 150 watts, while the actual RX580 8 GB goes up to 225 watts, and the full RX570 8 GB goes up to around 175 watts. The RX470 used to go up to around 147 watts. Like the above poster says, the heatsink is not one suited for 200w+, and barely 150w levels of cooling, too few fins and too little mass to keep a RX 580 cool. I suppose it could be a MINING version of a RX580 with the bios tweaked to reduce gpu power consumption and get it working within 150 watts but I don't know... First thing I'd do is remove the heatsink to figure out what RAM chips it uses (samsung, nanya, elpida, micron, hynix) because you would need to flash a bios that has support for that particular memory Then, I'd also take advantage of heatsink being removed to note the codes written on the gpu chip, because you can google those codes and see exactly what chip you have .. is it the 580 or 570 or is it the 570D / 580D with fewer shaders for the Asian market? From there, you can save the current bios and experiment with other bioses. I'd look for ITX / mini versions first because those have lower power limits (this card is artificially limited from bios to not consume more than 150w or it's not a RX 570 ./ RX 580) , and I'd also look into AMD reference cards, because I see that 109-D4732-002 code by the pci-e slot, which is an AMD reference card part number This guy here has a PCB with 109-D4732-001 code, and it's a RX570 with Elpida memory chips : https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threa...st-4697567 The code on the gpu chip ( 215-0876406 ) in the pictures in the forum post abvoe can be searched and it will tell you it's a RX 570 chip. I wrote some long threads explaining how to flash bios for AMD cards in the past, basically Techpowerup also has the AMD Flash tool in the Downloads section and there's a VGA bios collection on their website with original bioses.

It’s a clear scam card, and many people might have noticed if you checked your purchase history beforehand. This doesn’t match anything realistic about a genuine "stock AMD card" for a 580. Focus on recognized brands like Asus, Sapphire, EVGA, MSI, PowerColor, etc. If you find a card with no branding except “Nvidia” or “AMD,” search for its design reference and compare. This should filter out most fake listings.
Found my GTX760! In a box under a box under a box! Moving sucks. ..and it works! I'm not gaming with this rig, its mostly just offloading my davinchi rending stuff when I want to game on my main rig and don't care if it takes a little longer. (Main rig: 5800X3D + RX6800XT) This is a Ryzen 1700 and that 760. Not bad for basic stuff.
