Purchased a used RX580, it functions properly with Windows. Drivers aren't installing correctly despite using standard adrenaline drivers and auto-detection. Enterprise drivers show up instead. 3DMark reports no compatible benchmarks, and the AMD software fails to load. Previously owned an R9 Fury X and GTX970 both worked. Possibly a scam on eBay? Could be a reflashed card or something similar. Appears as AMD Radeon RX 580 2048SP in GPU-Z. Should I run the AMD driver removal tool and reinstall? First time using it. Also, when launching AMD software, a compatibility warning appears about driver mismatch—check for other AMD versions on your system.
Checked and the bios version according to GPU-Z is a standard bios. Also the sticker on the GPU is all beat up, can't tell which manufacturer it is. I just checked the ebay posting and I didn't realize it said the HDMI is not working, because I am using the HDMI port. Seems to be working. Here is a link to the card: https://www.ebay.com/itm/304575270833 Looks like a stock AMD card.
GPU Temp Reading: No noticeable zeros appearing where smaller or simple numbers should appear. Have you run a DDU to clear old drivers before installing these?
Installing non-Adrenaline drivers was successful, as I encountered no issues on my 470.
1 thing, it's not a normal 580 it's a "special edition" for the Chinese market, so it might be hard to find the right V-BIOS for that one but look for it.
